Do we want to keep independent Bangladesh, or want to be a united state of West Bengal in India?

A few days ago, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami advised the nation to forget everything from the past. It can be assumed that by the past, he meant the history of the liberation war of 1971, the role of his party at that time, etc.
