August 21 : The BNP government's blueprint was attacked!
The evidence that the state apparatus was involved in the attack on the Awami League rally on August 21 was found in the various steps taken by the then government after the attack.
After the attack, Bangabandhu Avenue was speedily swept by the City Corporation to remove all evidence, which was illegal. As a result, it becomes impossible for the forensic team to collect evidence from the scene.
After the bomb attack, instead of providing immediate treatment to the injured, the police lathicharged and fired teargas. Throwing tearcells gives criminals a chance to escape.
An unexploded fresh grenade was seized as evidence after the attack. But later the grenade was deliberately detonated by the army. Note that it is completely illegal to destroy anything seized without court permission.
The next day on August 22, the prison authorities found the same grenade inside the Dhaka Central Jail. But the police did not file a case.
The police did not investigate how the grenade came to a place like a prison.
According to security analysts, these incidents clearly prove that the August 1 grenade attack was planned by the then government and the administration was fully used to implement it.
