A group has started working to suppress obscenity in Bangladesh

Communal conflicts have increased in the country since the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5. The previous Awami League government wanted to maintain a secular system in the country. But after Dr. Yunus came to power, the country's civil society is accusing him of inciting extremist religious communities.

Desk Report: An organization named (ADK) has started working to suppress obscenity in Moulvibazar, a district town of Sylhet, Bangladesh. As an initial step, they have announced a 12-point program. On this occasion, they held a press conference in Moulvibazar city on Sunday, December 29.

At that time, Abdul Mukit Talukder, General Secretary of the Obscenity Suppression Committee (ADK), said, "We will convey all the activities of the Obscenity Suppression Committee to the country and the nation. Our young boys and girls must stay away from this bad culture. We have started this program from Moulvibazar, so we want to draw the attention of the Moulvibazar administration. Do not give permission to anyone who comes to you. They will tell you that we will hold a cultural program there, but it is seen that their obscene and lewd dancing and half-naked women's obscene dancing, etc., start after ten in the night.

The President of the Obscenity Suppression Committee (ADC), Mufti Tafazzul Islam Arabi, read out the 12-point declaration of demands of the ADC. The 12 points of the ADC are -

Point-1: All anti-social and un-Islamic activities, including singing and playing music in the name of Urus at various shrines, hiring dancers to sing using loud microphones, must be completely stopped.

Point-2: All types of obscenity and anti-social activities must be stopped in parks, resorts and tourist places located in the city and outside the city.

Point-3: Immoral activities must be stopped by conducting a quick raid in residential hotels and restaurants inside the city.

Point-4: Obscene and immoral activities such as transgender, homosexuality, live-together, etc. must be banned by law.

Point-5: All types of obscene billboards, posters and obscene advertisements must be removed.
Point-6: Gambling by organizing fairs in the name of cultural programs on the occasion of various days. Consumption of alcohol and marijuana and obscene songs and dances should be stopped.
Point-7: Strict action should be taken against free mixing among school and college students, girlfriend-boyfriend, anti-culture and all kinds of lewdness in the name of love and affection.
Point-8: Necessary steps should be taken to stop obscene books, magazines, festoons, playing cards, etc.
Point-9: Content creation on 'cinemas, dramas and various social media Facebook, YouTube, TikTok' and recording and distribution of sexually provocative anti-social videos made in the name of entertainment should be stopped.
Point-10: All kinds of obscene pornography sites should be permanently closed to protect the youth of the country from destruction.
Point-11: All necessary steps should be taken to instill religious values ​​and moral excellence in all types of educational institutions.
Point 12: The administration must stop approving all obscene events, including Jatragan, in the name of cultural events.
